or sometimes from photographs you already have.
Some portraits are carefully planned.
Others simply reveal themselves.
Every story is different.
Sometimes we plan a quiet session together.
Other times the portrait begins with a photograph that already exists.
What matters most is preserving the expression you recognize.
Sometimes these portraits evolve further —
into something more interpretive and artistic.
